One World Design Architecture designs healthy, beautiful, and super energy-efficient custom homes throughout the northwest.  We work with straw bales, structural insulated panels (SIPS), insulated concrete forms (ICFs) and conventional stud frame construction systems. You can call it "eco-friendly," "sustainable" or "green building," but we call it naturally perfect building.

International and domestic portfolio
We've worked all over the world using the ecology, climate, materials and culture of the particular sites to collaboratively develop warm, safe, and delightful buildings and homes.

Our homes and buildings resonate with people both in the United States and abroad not only because of aesthetic beauty but because of the practical and yet innovative functionality of each structure.

Homes that are good for the environment - healthy for people.

Key elements:

  • Passive cooling and solar heating
  • Super insulation
  • Fresh air and daylight
  • Natural and health materials
  • Integrated gardens
  • Solar electric power generation
  • Solar hot water

We listen intently, then help our clients focus on their dreams and ideas, to build exactly what they need.

"Good design intensifies our connection to the natural environment, natural rhythms and to each other."
