A small strawbale hermitage perched on a hill above a Dominican retreat center, provides a cozy, quiet meditation retreat. Thick strawbale walls make great window seats and deep windowsills. Designed with DSA Architects, Dan Smith and Bob Theis, the hermitage was constructed by workshop participants and Skillful Means Builders.
